Since May, visitors entering the nursing home in Ried, Austria are greeted by a baby elephant. But this isn’t just an ordinary elephant, this little one reminds visitors to practice social distancing.
Scheuch was proud to manufacture and donate the sign to a local nursing home in Ried, Austria. Bernd Hinterstoisser, Head of Technology and Processes at Ligno GmbH was responsible for the design and development of the metal animal. “I hope that everyone makes an effort and observes the important distance rules as much as possible,“ Bernd says. „Especially here in the nursing home it is very important not to forget them. The baby elephant is a welcoming invitation to do so and can save the lives of people here.”
The team at the nursing home appreciated Scheuch‘s generous donation and hopes it will help to continue a virus-free environment.
